Student Ambassador Speech
For those of you who just joined us, my name is Quincy, and I’m from class Year 10 Courage. I’ve been studying at MITstem International School from the beginning all the way back in 2019 as part of its pioneer batch. Since then, learning in this school has been an amazing experience; that I bet, you won’t be able to find anywhere else.
I’m sure you all know by now that STEM is the future of education. We’re living in an era where rapid technological advancement is our daily reality, and while the future of work, economy, and culture is unclear, one thing is certain : a new approach to education based on the STEM careers of the future is essential to prepare the students of today for the world of tomorrow; which is exactly what MITstem is offering! Hence our motto : creating experts for the future.
MITstem International School doesn’t just offer a Cambridge-certified IGCSE education, with a large variety of STEM-focused subjects like design and technology, computer science, and ict; we also give you skills ranging from robotics proficiency, drone flying, 3D computer design, and so much more! What’s even better is that here, you don’t just earn the knowledge, you earn the certification too! After completing our courses, you can receive Autodesk, FANUC, and even STEMera’s official certification! For those of you who don’t know what STEMera is, STEMera is the world’s premier blockchain ecosystem for online learning courses and state-of-the-art technology used in live training sequences.
Since my enrollment here in MITstem two years ago, I’ve been able to gain practical STEM skills and fundamental knowledge crucial to a wide range of STEM fields. Back in Year 8, I learned how to program microcontrollers and how to use mechanical design software. Last year when I was a Year 9 student and Cambridge Checkpoint candidate, I learned the fundamentals of mechatronics, pneumatic systems engineering, and even industrial robotics. How many 14 year olds out there do you know that have experience with these topics? You can only find them at MITstem.
The experience and knowledge I’ve gained in this school is invaluable to me and my future endeavours in the STEM field. With the wide range of skills I’ve acquired, in addition to the qualifications like the aforementioned Cambridge, STEMera, and Autodesk, I could pursue any engineering discipline I’d want to with ease. This goes to show that here at MITstem, we truly prepare students to become experts for the future.
